COVID-19 testing norms for those travelling from India has relaxed by Canada Government
RT PCR Covid test report from (ICMR) Indian Council Of Medical Research from approved laboratory is still required for those travelling from Country India to Canada.
International Travel Update: The Government of Canada has relaxed the COVID-19 testing norms for those Guests travelling from any airport in India. In a fresh notification, Canada Government said people travelling on direct flights or one-stop flight from India will no longer need to show negative RT PCR COVID test done within 18 hours Prior to departure. As per the latest guidelines issued by the Canadian government for India , No Guests will now need to show mandatory negative RT PCR COVID test report obtained from approved laboratory at Delhi International airport before boarding the flight to Canada..
Now its not mandatory to Travel canada only from Delhi International Airport.
However, an RT PCR COVID test report from Indian Council Of Medical Research (ICMR)-approved laboratory is still required for those travelling from India to Canada.
Earlier, Canadian government had declare it is mandatory for Guests / Passengers to carry negative COVID-19 test report not more than 18 hours before departure from the approved laboratory at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. Travel Guidelines Covid19 For India To Canada
- Guests planning to travel from India to Canada do not need to carry a negative COVID-19 test report within 18 hours from the approved laboratory at the New Delhi International Airport.
- Note that travellers planning to fly to Canada must carry a negative COVID-19 test report from any ICMR-approved laboratory.
- Moreover, as per the guidelines, the fully vaccinated passengers will have to upload the relevant information into the ArriveCAN mobile app or website.
