UK London Travel Guidelines relax travel norms for Indian fliers from October 1.
1. Passengers who have been in or transited through Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Burundi, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Georgia, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mayotte, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Reunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia or Zimbabwe in the past 10 days are not allowed to enter.
This does not apply to:
– British nationals;
– nationals of Ireland (Rep.);
– residents of the United Kingdom.
2. Until 03:59, 4 October 2021, passengers arriving from Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Barbados, Bermuda, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Canada, Cayman Isl., Chinese Taipei, Croatia, Denmark, Dominica, Falkland Isl. (Malvinas), Finland, Germany, Gibraltar, Grenada, Hong Kong (SAR China), Iceland, Israel, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Montserrat, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal (only Azores and Madeira), Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, St. Helena, Switzerland or Turks and Caicos Isl. are subject to a COVID-19 test on day 2 after arrival at their own expense. 3. Until 03:59, 4 October 2021, passengers arriving from a country other than Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Barbados, Bermuda, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Canada, Cayman Isl., Chinese Taipei, Croatia, Denmark, Dominica, Falkland Isl. – The test on day 8 does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued in Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Vatican City (Holy See) or an EEA Member State showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty) at least 14 days before arrival. They must not be arriving from Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Burundi, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Georgia, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mayotte, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Reunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia or Zimbabwe;
– The test on day 8 does not apply to passengers younger than 18 years residing in Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Vatican City (Holy See) or an EEA Member State. They must not be arriving from Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Burundi, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Congo (Dem. 4. Effective 04:00, 4 October 2021, passengers arriving from a country other than Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Burundi, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Georgia, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mayotte, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Reunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia or Zimbabwe are subject to a COVID-19 test on day 2 and day 8 after arrival at their own expense. 5. Passengers entering the United Kingdom must complete a “Public Health Passenger Locator Form”. The form must include the booking reference number for the required COVID-19 tests or the invoice number for the quarantine hotel booking. The form can be obtained at https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk and must be presented at check-in and to immigration upon arrival.

6. Passengers transiting through the United Kingdom must complete a “Public Health Passenger Locator Form”. The form can be obtained at https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk and must be presented at check-in and to immigration upon arrival.

7. Passengers entering or transiting through the United Kingdom must have a negative COVID-19 test result. The test must have been taken at most 3 days before departure of the last direct flight to the United Kingdom. Tests accepted are: antigen, LAMP, nucleic acid and PCR tests. The test result must be in English, French or Spanish. Passengers details (name, date of birth or age) on the test result must match those stated in the passport or other travel document. The test result must also include the contact details of the issuing laboratory.

8. Passengers entering England who have been in or transited through Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Burundi, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Georgia, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mayotte, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Reunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia or Zimbabwe in the past 10 days must:
– have a quarantine package for 11 nights; and
– arrive at Birmingham (BHX), Farnborough (FAB), Gatwick (LGW), Heathrow (LHR) or London City (LCY).

9. Passengers entering Scotland who have been in or transited through Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Burundi, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Georgia, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mayotte, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Reunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia or Zimbabwe in the past 10 days must:

– arrive at Aberdeen (ABZ), Edinburgh (EDI), Glasgow (GLA), Glasgow Prestwick (PIK) or Inverness (INV).

10. Rep.), Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Georgia, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mayotte, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Reunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia or Zimbabwe in the past 10 days must have a quarantine package for 11 nights. 12. Flights from Argentina, Brazil, Cape Verde, Chile, Cuba, Dominican Rep., Ethiopia, Georgia, Indonesia, Mexico, Montenegro, South Africa, Thailand and Tunisia are suspended.
– This does not apply to flights arriving at the South Arrival and Immigration Hall of Birmingham (BHX) or the Terminal 4 of Heathrow (LHR).
13. Airline crew not residing in the United Kingdom are subject to self-isolation in a hotel until their next flight.
14. Passengers with an Overseas Domestic Worker visa issued by the UK must be accompanied by the sponsor or one of the first-degree family members of the sponsor.
