Saudi tourist visa

Saudi Arabia has opened its doors to visitors from all over the world with its evisa program since September, 2019. Visitors can acquire a multiple-entry visa valid for a year that will allow them to stay in the country for up to 90 days. The visa is relevant to tourism-related activities and Umrah (excluding Hajj season) and excludes other activities such as studying.

The visa system is a historic milestone in opening Saudi Arabia to tourism. International visitors can discover the warm hospitality of Saudi people: our rich heritage, vibrant culture, and diverse and breath-taking landscapes, from the mountains of Abha to the beaches of the Red Sea and the shifting sands of the Empty Quarter.

Visa eligibility

Tourists from 49 eligible countries can apply for a tourist visa online through our fast and easy-to-use eVisa ahead of their trip.

Tourists from other countries should apply for a consulate visa through Saudi embassies and consulates.

Registration process

Applying for a tourist visa to Saudi Arabia is easy. If you are from one of the 49 eligible countries, you can apply through the eVisa . Other countries need to apply through their nearest Saudi embassy or consulate.

Holders of US, UK, or Schengen visas can apply for the visa upon arrival.

Fees and Validity

All Visit Visas, including e-Visa, Visa-on-Arrival and Consulate Visa:
The visa fees are SAR 300, and the cost of the new comprehensive medical insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment is SAR 180 including tax, bringing the total to SAR 480.
The validity of the visa depends on its type. A single entry visa allows you to stay for a total length of one month, while the multiple entry visa allows you to stay in Saudi Arabia for up to three months.
A multiple entry visa is valid for a maximum of three months, regardless of whether you leave and re-enter the country during that period of time.
Application information (Group A)

E-visa and visa on arrival

Minimum age of applicants is 18 years old.

Underaged applicants require an individual above 18 years old to act as their guardian.

When applying, the passport validity must suffice for at least 6 months at the time of entering Saudi Arabia.*

Refund in case of rejection is not possible. Visa fees are non-refundable

Overstay fees: SAR100 for each day of overstay when the visa expires without leaving Saudi Arabia.

Religion of applicant is not relevant.

Countries with bilateral agreements can apply for the visit visa through e-Visa or visa-on-arrival, or through the consulate visa (USA, UK, South Korea and Japan).

Documents not required to obtain a visa:

  – Return ticket;
  – Booking accommodation (only address is required);
  – A hard copy of the visa, although a soft copy is advised.
Time taken to issue an e-Visa Within 24 Hours.

Visa eligibility pre-checks are conducted by all airlines before boarding flights to Saudi Arabia.

* For citizens of the USA, an extended validity of 6 months after the passport expiry date is permissible for application.

Consulate Visa

  – Flight itinerary;
  – Complete personal information; home address.
Time taken to issue an e-Visa is 1-2 business days in most cases.
Visa pre-checks are conducted by all airlines before boarding flights to Saudi Arabia.

What is the Saudi eVisa?

Saudi Arabia is opening its doors to the world through its new tourist visa. Through the fast and easy-to-use online portal, international visitors from 49 eligible countries can apply for an eVisa and discover the warm hospitality of Saudi people the rich heritage, vibrant culture, and diverse and breathtaking landscapes; from the mountains of Abha to the beaches of the Red Sea to the shifting sands of the Empty Quarter.

The eVisa will be a one-year, multiple entry visa, allowing tourists to spend up to 90 days in the country. It covers tourism-related activities and Umrah (excluding Hajj season) and excludes other activities such as studying.

Arrives in Makkah

Our representative will welcome and Help you to check into your hotel, With a Distance Between 450 Metre to 550 Metre, Walkable distance from the entrance of Masjid Al Haram.

Upon arrival in Makkah, you will first check-in at your hotel and then you will proceed to Masjid Al Haram to perform Umrah.

Day 2,4,5, & 6 : Makkah Al Mukarramah

These days are free for you to rest and enjoy the magnificence & vibrant energy of Mecca, The Honored City. With the special convenience of your hotel located in walking distance to Masjid Al Haram, you will have the following unique opportunities:

  • Making the five daily prayers in Masjid Al Haram
  • Performing Tawaaf, the only special form of prayer, unique only to Masjid Al Haram
  • Performing additional Umrahs
  • Unlimited access to the blessed, cool and refreshing Zam Zam water

Makkah Al Mukarramah –Sightseeing-Ziyarath

After breakfast, Insha’Allah, depending on the schedule and availability, we will provide you with a guided tour of all the major religious and historical sites in Mecca aboard in our air-conditioned bus, you will visit the following places:

  • Cave of Thaur, where the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) hid for a few days at the beginning of the migration to Medina
  • Mena, Arafaat and Muzdalifah. In Arafaat, you will have the opportunity to see Jabal Al Rahmah
  • Jabal Al Noor, on top of which is located the cave of Hira, where the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) received his first revelation
  • Al Mualla cemetery where Khadija (May Allah be pleased with her) is reportedly buried along with many of the companions (May Allah be pleased with them)
  • The birthplace of the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him)

Depart for Madina

Today, you will depart for Madina. Our representative We will help you check-in to your hotel.just a few steps from the entrance of Al Masjid Al Nabawi.

After some rest, you have the exciting opportunity to pray in Masjid Al Nabawi and give your ‘salaam’ to the Prophet Mohammed (May the Peace & Blessings be upon him)

Day 8,10,11,12 & 13 : Madina Al Mukarramah

These days are free for you to rest and enjoy the tranquility of Medina, The City of Light, and the unique opportunity of offering the five daily prayers in Masjid Al Nabawi. Your hotel is conveniently located steps from Masjid Al Nabawi. You will have the opportunity to do any of the following at your leisure:

  • Enter the blessed Masjid of our beloved Prophet (May Peace and Blessings be Showered Upon Him), access The Rawdah (Reeaz Ul-Jannah), the place where our beloved Prophet (PBUH) called a part of Jannah, and give your salam to our beloved Prophet (PBUH), Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (May Allah be pleased with him) and Omar Bin-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him)
  • Visit Al Baqi, the resting places of the family of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) and his beloved Companions (May Allah be pleased with them

Madina –Masjid Al Nabawi –Sightseeing-Ziyarath

After fajr, Insha’Allah, depending on the schedule and availability, our representative will provide you with a guided tour of the religious and historical sites in Medina on board in air-conditioned bus, you will visit the following locations:

  • The mountain of ‘Uhud where the battle of ‘Uhud took place including the cemetery where the Shohada of ‘Uhud are buried, including Hamza (May Allah be pleased with him), the uncle of the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him)
  • Masjid Al Quba, the first masjid in Islam and was built by the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) and his closest companions (May Allah be pleased with them)
  • Masjid Al Qiblatain, the distinction of being the only masjid where obligatory congregational prayer was held facing both the old Qibla (Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem) and the present Qibla (Masjid Al Haram in Mecca) in the same prayer
  • The area is known as Saba Masajids representing the places where the believers camped during the battle of the Trench. This includes the campsite of the Prophet (PBUH) known as Masjid Al Fath and that of Salman Al Farsi (May Allah be pleased with him) whose idea it was to dig a trench wide and long and wide enough to confound the enemy who was not expecting it

Departure to Home

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, “A prayer in this mosque of mine is a thousand times greater than a prayer in other than it, except for the Masjid al-Haram.” [Sahih Bukhari; Sahih Muslim].
